Chardonnay 2002
Estate-grown wine from the terra rossa vineyard fermented in small French oak barriques. The wine exhibits attractive arom,as of almosnds and peach with a hint of butterscotch. The palate is long and full with citrus and pear flavours supported by subtle French oak.
Pinot noir 2001
Bright, light red-purple; an estate-grown blend of several clones of hand-picked grapes from mature low-yielding vines in our Stone Wall Vineyard. The nose shows delicate aromas of plum, rhubarb and subtle spicy oak. The palate is full and round with plum, cherry and chocolate flavours. The finish is clear with acid and tannins in harmony.
Shiraz 2001
Estate-grown wine from the Gorepani vineyard and aged in American oak for 12 months. The aroma displays bright fruit characters of redcurrant and raspberry with dried herbal features of thyme and rosemary supported by a hint of vanilla and toasty new oak.This is reflected in the palate of red fruits with some earthy notes, liquorice and dried spice giving an elegant harmony to the wine. The finish is lingering with gentle tannins.
Cabernets 2001
An estate-grown blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. The nose shows ripe raspberry and blackcurrant aromas, and the palate follows with intense red berry fruit finishing with well-integrated French oak and soft tannins.
