Varieties
& Vintages Available: SEMILLON - SAUVIGNON BLANC
A low yielding vintage producing fruit of exceptional quality. We slowly barrel fermented our Semillon to retain acidity and natural freshness, then blended it with 15% of wonderfully tropical Sauvignon Blanc to produce a fresh, full flavoured and zesty style with a touch of oak complexity. Please do not over-chill.

CHARDONNAY
A citrus nutty nose with lees complexity translates to a palate of melon and grapefruit. Cashew overtones reflect barrel fermentation followed by nine months maturation in new and near new French oak. A lingering finish balanced with fresh acidity foreshadows further development over the next 4 or 5 years.

PINOT NOIR
Handcrafted utilising traditional techniques of cold maceration, open fermentation with regular plunging and uncompromising barrel selection to produce a style of earthy complexity layered with silky fruit flavours. Earth and cherries on the nose continue on the palate in this wine of structure and complexity.

CABERNET FRANC
A dry year with long periods of sunshine allowed for maximum fruit development. Softer and more perfumed than its cousin Cabernet Sauvignon, our house style of this relatively rare variety sees little oak in order to emphasise its delicious spicy fruit. Good mouthfeel. Particularly recommended with all lamb dishes.

CABERNET MERLOT
Deep red in colour, the rich leafy softness of merlot tames the more generous and complex flavours of Cabernet Sauvignon in this full flavoured blend, enhanced by the structure added by subtle French oak.AWARDED: ××× WINESTATE MAGAZINE March/April issue 2003 93 points, James Halliday’s Australian Wine Companion (2004 edn)

GOONA WARRA SHIRAZ
A warm dry year produced concentrated savoury spicy fruit to which just a touch of French oak has added grip, making for an excellent food wine that can be cellared for up to 10 years.
