Sydac is an Australian engineering company established in 1988 that has been providing Information Technology solutions to the Oil and Gas sector for over ten years. Sydac also produces training and operational simulators for a range of industries. 

Sydac’s pypIT software automates the management of complex shipper contracts for natural gas pipelines. 

pypIT integrates with existing systems such as SCADA and SAP and manages the end-to-end business needs of gas transmission including shipper nominations, scheduling and apportionment, invoicing and reporting. 

pypIT is used on many of Australia’s major pipelines to minimise risks and provide accurate accountability and reporting. It is used by WestNet Energy, SEA Gas, EPIC Energy and being customised for Jemena for installation early 2009. 

Sydac’s simulation business provides training technology in the form of fully immersive simulators through to desktop trainers. 

Simulators are developed for the training of operators and drivers, control room staff, maintenance and hazard awareness. 

Sydac provides operational simulators to evaluate new developments or changes in equipment, facilities or processes, in a virtual environment.
