Dunavant Enterprises Pty Ltd has operated in Australia since 1984 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dunavant Enterprises Inc. of Memphis, Tennessee, USA. Dunavant is one of the largest cotton merchandising operations globally, with an involvement in all major cotton producing and consuming regions worldwide.

In Australia, Dunavant provides a comprehensive marketing service to all cotton producing regions, and currently handles around 20% of the Australian production annually.

Dunavant Australia's three ginning facilities process approximately 11% of the crop each year. A five-stand gin is located at Yamala and services the Central Queensland region; a four-stand plant located at Moree, New South Wales services the Gwydir valley; and a four-stand plant at Dalby, Queensland, services the Darling Downs region.

In addition to the ginning and marketing facilities, Dunavant Australia has warehouse, container and rail facilities at each gin site, providing an integrated ginning, warehouse and logistics system which ensures timely and accurate storage and delivery of product to all our markets.
