Established 34 years ago, Academy Tarps is SA's oldest and largest leading specialist fabricator of PVC and canvas providing cover solutions for the road freight, grain haulage and rail transport industry as well as industrial, commercial and domestic covers and shade sail structures for a diverse base of clients. Owned by Wayne Powell since 1999 the Company recently moved to a brand new purpose built facility in the hub of SA's rail and transport heartland at Gillman. This new two and a half acre facility offers outstanding two street access with dedicated bays for each area of the Company's operations. Academy Tarps uses up to date RF, hot air and wedge welding equipment and industrial sewing machines to deliver consistent and high quality product every time. Academy Tarps offers a full repair service and carries stock of all ancillary items.
